Opticis USB Optical Extension / Optical Isolation Stretch your USB Connectivity with the Opticis USB Extension Cable! The M2-100-03 allows the PC user to locate USB V1.1 peripherals up to 9 feet (3m) from the processor with a simple and easy to install point-to-point USB cable. Works fine on all USB 2.0 host system ports as well for USB 1.0 and 1.1 devices.
With an upstream Type A plug and downstream Type A receptacle, it is a plug n play connection that has the USB camera, scanner, or printer online and running almost immediately. There is no special software required - the cable emulates a generic USB hub in the Operating System: Windows 98 up, Apple Mac OS 8 up, Linux, Sun Unix and Sun Solaris, HP Unix, etc. with USB support - no software or drivers required.
The M2-100-03 comes with a universal AC/DC remote power adapter to power the downstream pod.
