The CAT.5 KVM Extender simply extends your KVM station from your computer. The model is a desk-top unit that allows you to locate PC, Server or KVM switch up to 500 feet away from your controlling keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor thru the low cost cat.5/5E/6 UTP or STP cable. The unit supports both local and remote keyboard, monitor and mouse that can be activated via a switch.
