IndustrialComponent.com started selling USB Cables as USBStuff.com in 1996 before USB ports were on computers. Our first customers were Microsoft and Apple. A year later we started a selling FireWire Cables as FireWireStuff.com, again before FireWire became mainstream.
Currently we are specializing in long distance fiber optic USB / FireWire extensions that can extend up to a quarter mile over LC multimode fiber cables. The benefits of this technology are EMI and RFI immunity, this way high magnetic fields or electric fields do not interfere with the operation and signal of the USB cable.
