The repeater extends the distance between any computers supporting DVI-D monitors or projectors up to 100ft and transmits perfect digital video. If you are using a 50ft or longer DVI cable to extend a DVI display to your source, you may see sparkles when it’s connected. When connected with the DVI Extender, that same cable can sustain 1280x1024 resolution up to 100ft and 1600x1200 resolution up to 80ft.
