This USB 2.0 Extension cable allows any USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 device to have its cable length extended up to 25 meters (using 5 Extenders) by serially connecting these 16 foot extension cables. The Vigor USB Extension Cable acts as a transparent USB hub and buffers all downstream and upstream data traffic. Both the low-speed, full-speed and high-speed USB devices will function equally well with the USB Extension Cable. Apple Mac OX 9 and OS X, Linux, Unix, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP with available USB ports.
