The FireNEX™-CAT6-DP is an all-in-one USB-C repeater/extender over CAT6a/7 designed for BYOD meeting rooms and pro AV installs. It extends a full set of USB-C functions over a single network cable: 5Gbps USB 3.2 data, DisplayPort Alt Mode video, audio, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB Power Delivery.
Unlike extenders that only do USB 2.0 or only do USB 3.x without DP Alt Mode, FireNEX-CAT6-DP supports simultaneous 5Gbps data and DisplayPort video, with automatic DP Alt Mode lane switching (2-lane or 4-lane) for broader USB-C host compatibility.
It also provides power delivery up to 60W to the host, plus downstream power for connected devices, and includes RS-232 serial pass-through for AV control and automation workflows.
