Newnex FireNEX™-UDC is a panel-mount USB-C extension solution with an attached active repeater built into a rugged, EMI-resistant metal enclosure. It’s made for the real-world problem of USB-C: the second you try to run it “a little farther,” everything gets flaky.
FireNEX-UDC boosts USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) and DisplayPort Alt Mode to extend USB-C connections up to 10 meters, while maintaining signal integrity. It can also be used as a USB-C to USB-C adapter/repeater to improve reliability between mixed cables and devices.
It supports DP Alt Mode video (DP v1.4 / HBR3) including 4K@60Hz, and provides bidirectional USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.1 pass-through up to 240W (48V/5A). The unit is USB bus-powered, so it requires no external power input, and is designed to be plug-and-play for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
