The Newnex ULHL-EX series is an active high-flex USB-A extension cable that turns “we need USB over moving equipment” into something closer to reliable. It uses an embedded FireNEX™ active repeater to maintain USB 3.x Gen 1 / 5Gbps performance at longer lengths than passive high-flex extensions can typically manage.
This is a USB-A Male to USB-A Female extension format, intended for extending an existing USB-A device cable or adding reach to a USB-A connection in motion systems. It’s bus-powered (no external power input), plug-and-play, and designed for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
Performance changes by length (important)
Both variants support 5Gbps, but travel distance differs with cable length, and power is limited to 5V / 0.9A:
