The Newnex FireNEX™-uLINK-10G (ULK10G-CC-8M) is a multi-function active USB-C extension cable engineered to extend USB-C data, video, and power beyond the limits of passive cables while maintaining signal integrity and reliability.
This 8-meter (26.2 ft) version supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 10Gbps, DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode in 2-lane configuration, and USB Power Delivery up to 60W (20V / 3A) simultaneously over a single USB-C connection.
Unlike standard USB-C cables, the FireNEX™-uLINK-10G integrates active repeater electronics within a ruggedized metal enclosure, allowing stable long-distance operation without drivers or software. The design is conduit-installation friendly, making it suitable for professional AV, control room, and industrial environments.
DisplayPort Alt Mode support enables high-resolution video output while maintaining USB data transfer at the same time. The cable supports HBR3 signaling (8.1Gbps per lane) for each DisplayPort lane in 2-lane mode, ensuring reliable video performance for modern displays and conferencing systems.
The cable is fully plug-and-play across Windows, macOS, and Linux, and is backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0/1.1 devices.
