The Opticis DPC-MP14-TR is a DisplayPort 1.4 pure optical extender engineered for ultra-high-bandwidth, long-distance video transport using MPO multi-mode fiber (OM3). It supports up to 8K (7680×4320) at 60Hz using Display Stream Compression (DSC) with a maximum total bandwidth of 32.4Gbps (8.1Gbps per lane, HBR3).
By transmitting DisplayPort 1.4 signals entirely over optical fiber, the DPC-MP14-TR eliminates latency, EMI, RFI, and electrical interference while preserving full signal integrity. This architecture also enables support for 5K at 60Hz and 4K at up to 144Hz, making it suitable for advanced visualization, simulation, and high-refresh-rate display systems.
The extender features a detachable pigtail design, allowing the DisplayPort end to connect directly to source or display equipment while the opposite end interfaces with a 12-core OM3 Type-A MPO cable. To simplify installation and avoid polarity or direction errors, the MPO connectors are color-coded:

- RX: Beige
