The Opticis DPFX-250-TR is a compact DisplayPort 1.2 optical extender designed for long-distance 4K signal transmission in professional AV, medical imaging, and control room environments.
Using dual LC OM3 multimode fiber, the DPFX-250-TR extends 4K UHD (4096×2160) @ 60Hz up to 200 meters (656 feet) with zero compression and zero latency. With a total data throughput of 21.6 Gbps (5.4 Gbps per lane), it preserves full video fidelity for demanding DisplayPort 1.2 applications.
The fully optical link provides complete electrical isolation, eliminating EMI, ground loops, and interference in electrically noisy environments. The compact transmitter and receiver modules are designed for direct connection to source and display, making the system easy to deploy in tight installations.
Power is drawn directly from the 3.3V DisplayPort interface by default, with USB power support available when additional power is required. Included short DisplayPort jumper cables make it easy to adapt to installations where direct connection is impractical.
