The Opticis DPFX-300-TR is a detachable optical DisplayPort 1.2 extension module designed to transmit 4K UHD (4096×2160) video at 60Hz over long distances using a single LC multi-mode fiber (OM3).
Supporting a total bandwidth of 21.6Gbps (5.4Gbps per lane), the DPFX-300-TR delivers uncompromised DisplayPort 1.2 performance with no video degradation, making it well suited for professional AV, broadcast environments, control rooms, and high-resolution display installations.
Its compact, lightweight design allows the module to be fitted directly into DisplayPort source and display devices, enabling clean installations in space-constrained environments. The use of pure fiber connectivity between transmitter and receiver provides complete electrical isolation, eliminating EMI, RFI, and electrical hazard concerns.
The DPFX-300-TR operates via USB power, requiring no external DC power adapter. Supplied micro-USB cables allow power to be drawn directly from source or display devices, while auto power switching ensures stable operation.
