The Opticis DPOC-14N is a DisplayPort 1.4 Active Optical Cable (AOC) designed to deliver ultra-high-bandwidth video over long distances while maintaining the simplicity and form factor of a standard DisplayPort cable.

Supporting up to 8K UHD (7680×4320) at 60Hz using Display Stream Compression (DSC) and a maximum bandwidth of 32.4Gbps (8.1Gbps per lane, HBR3), the DPOC-14N enables reliable long-distance DisplayPort transmission without scaling, recompression, or external extender hardware.

Unlike traditional extenders, the DPOC-14N requires no external power supply. It draws all necessary power directly from the DisplayPort TX and RX interfaces, enabling true plug-and-play operation with no configuration or setup. This makes it ideal for environments where simplicity, portability, and fast deployment are critical.

The cable uses a hybrid fiber architecture, combining optical fiber for high-speed video transport with copper conductors for control and handshake signals. It supports bi-directional hardware handshaking for EDID and DPCP, ensuring stable link training and compatibility across a wide range of DisplayPort sources and displays.

To suit diverse installation environments, the DPOC-14N is available with multiple jacket options, including plenum-rated, LSZH, and TPU, making it suitable for permanent installations as well as portable and rental use.
