The Opticis DVFX-100-TR is a 1-fiber detachable DVI optical extender designed to transmit uncompressed WUXGA (1920×1200) and 2K DVI signals at 60Hz over long distances using a single SC-terminated multimode fiber. Its compact form factor allows direct connection to standard DVI sources and displays without system modification.
Engineered with Opticis fiber-optic technology, the DVFX-100-TR extends DVI signals up to 500 meters (1,640 feet) over OM2/OM3 multimode fiber, and up to 300 meters (984 feet) over OM1 fiber, delivering full-quality video with zero compression and no latency.
The unit features a solid aluminum die-cast enclosure for excellent EMI shielding and heat dissipation, making it suitable for electrically noisy and mission-critical environments. Its patent-pending Self-EDID management allows EDID information to be read and restored simply by plugging the transmitter into the display, simplifying setup across mixed display environments.
Certified for medical, industrial, and professional AV use, the DVFX-100-TR complies with UL/EN 60601-1, IEC/EN 60601-1-2, FCC, and CE standards, and features a Class 1 laser eye-safe optical interface.
