The Opticis HDFX-350-TR is a compact HDMI 2.0 optical fiber extender designed for professional AV, medical imaging, and mission-critical installations that demand long-distance 4K video transmission without signal degradation.
Using duplex LC OM3 multimode fiber, the HDFX-350-TR extends 4K UHD (4096×2160) @ 60Hz with full RGB & YCbCr 4:4:4 color fidelity up to 200 meters (656 feet). The link is fully optical, providing complete electrical isolation to eliminate EMI, ground loops, and interference in electrically noisy environments.
The transmitter and receiver feature high-retention HDMI connectors to prevent accidental disconnection in racks, carts, or mobile setups. Full support for CEC, EDID, and HDCP 2.2 ensures compatibility with modern displays, sources, and protected content workflows.
Powering is flexible and installer-friendly. The transmitter and receiver can be powered via USB, and the transmitter can also draw 5V from the HDMI source (DDC). An auto power-switching circuit selects the available power source automatically for maximum reliability. A short 0.2 m HDMI jumper cable is included to simplify tight installations.
