The Opticis HDFX-500-TR is a detachable optical HDMI 2.0 extension module designed to transmit 4K UHD (4096×2160) video at 60Hz over long distances using a single LC multi-mode fiber (OM3).
Capable of extending HDMI 2.0 signals up to 200 meters (656 feet), the HDFX-500-TR delivers full-bandwidth 18Gbps performance with no video or audio degradation, making it ideal for professional AV, broadcast, control rooms, and mission-critical installations.
Its compact and lightweight design allows installation in space-constrained environments while providing complete electrical isolation, eliminating risks from electrical interference, ground loops, and EMI. A high-retention HDMI connector ensures stronger holding force than standard HDMI connectors, reducing the risk of accidental disconnections.
The HDFX-500-TR supports key HDMI features including CEC, EDID, HDCP 2.2, and HDR, ensuring broad compatibility with modern 4K sources and displays. Power flexibility is built in, allowing operation via USB power or DDC 5V from the HDMI source (Tx only), with automatic power switching for improved reliability.
