HDMI 2.0 optical extender supporting uncompressed 4K UHD at 60Hz over a single LC fiber. Extends HDMI signals up to 300m with ARC and HDR support.
The Opticis HDFX-700-TR is a one-fiber HDMI 2.0 optical extender designed to transmit uncompressed 4K UHD (4096×2160) video at 60Hz over long distances using a single LC multi-mode fiber (OM3).
Capable of extending HDMI 2.0 signals up to 300 meters (984 feet), the HDFX-700-TR delivers full 18Gbps bandwidth with support for HDR, CEC, EDID, and HDCP 2.2/1.4, making it suitable for professional AV, broadcast, control room, and large-scale display installations.
To simplify installation in confined or equipment-dense environments, the HDFX-700-TR supports copper HDMI extension up to 3 meters on both TX and RX sides. The standard package includes 2-meter copper cables for each end, allowing flexible placement when direct fiber termination is impractical.
The extender offers two selectable operating modes, determined by firmware:
- ARC Mode (default): ARC supported up to 300m
- Compatibility Mode: Enables direct interoperability with the Opticis HDFX-500 module for mixed installations
Firmware can be upgraded via the micro USB port, allowing system behavior to be adapted to specific deployment requirements.
