The Opticis LHM2-P is a detachable HDMI 2.0 Active Optical Cable (AOC) engineered for long-distance, high-bandwidth HDMI transmission in professional AV and mission-critical display environments. It delivers uncompressed 4K DCI (4096×2160) video at 60Hz over distances up to 100 meters (328 feet) without scaling or compression.
Designed for maximum installation flexibility, the LHM2-P separates the HDMI connector module from the active optical cable, allowing easier routing through conduits and tight spaces. Despite its fiber-optic construction, the cable maintains the slim, lightweight handling characteristics of standard copper HDMI cables.
The LHM2-P supports CEC, EDID, and HDCP 2.2, ensuring full compatibility with modern 4K sources and displays. It also supports HDR (10-bit / 12-bit) within the HDMI 2.0 bandwidth limit of 18Gbps. The cable is powered by an external 5V micro-USB power supply, which is included in the package.
Multiple jacket options are available for different installation environments, including Plenum-rated, LSZH, and TPU hybrid cable variants, making the LHM2-P suitable for in-wall, ceiling, and industrial routing scenarios.
