Opticis Two-Fiber Detachable DVI Optical Extender, WUXGA 60Hz, up to 1.5km (M1-201DA-TR)

The Opticis M1-201DA-TR is a two-fiber detachable optical DVI extender designed to transmit uncompressed WUXGA (1920×1200) video at 60Hz over long distances using duplex LC fiber connections.

Capable of extending DVI signals up to 1,500 meters (4,920 feet) over single-mode fiber or 500 meters (1,640 feet) over multi-mode fiber, the M1-201DA-TR is ideal for industrial, medical, control room, and large-facility AV installations where legacy DVI equipment must be deployed across extreme distances.

Housed in a solid aluminum die-cast enclosure, the module provides excellent EMI shielding, thermal dissipation, and durability in harsh and electrically noisy environments. Its compact, detachable design allows easy integration with existing systems without modification.

For advanced distribution scenarios, the M1-201DA-TR supports signal duplication using an optical passive splitter (OPS-216L), enabling a single transmitter to feed up to 16 receivers. This allows cost-effective, space-saving signal distribution in large installations.

To simplify setup and ensure compatibility, the unit features patent-pending Self-EDID management, allowing EDID information to be read and restored directly from the display. The extender also provides full electrical isolation and is certified for medical, industrial, and professional AV applications.
