Opticis OMVC-200 Multi-Format to Fiber DVI Converter | DVI, VGA, Component to 500m Fiber

The Opticis OMVC-200 is a box-type multi-format video converter designed to accept a wide range of legacy and modern video inputs including DVI, VGA, Component, S-Video, and Composite, and convert the detected source into a single-fiber DVI optical output for long-distance transmission.

The OMVC-200 automatically detects the first active input signal and converts it to uncompressed WUXGA (1920×1200) at 60Hz DVI, transmitting up to 500 meters (1,640 ft) over one SC multi-mode fiber. For signal recovery at the display side, the Opticis DVFX-100-R receiver converts the optical DVI signal back to standard electrical DVI.

For professional installations, the OMVC-200 includes Self-EDID management for both DVI and VGA inputs, allowing EDID information to be read and stored directly from the connected display. This ensures reliable compatibility across mixed-resolution environments without complex manual configuration.

Designed for rack, wall, or display-side mounting, the OMVC-200 supports an optional OPMCB mounting bracket compliant with VESA 75 and 100 standards, making it ideal for control rooms, medical systems, conference spaces, and long-distance video distribution environments where electrical isolation and signal integrity are critical.
